Mrs C. P. Gardner forma parte del equipo de la Agencia de Edison de México compuesto además por el dueño de la empresa, John R. Roslyn, Thomas C. O'Connor y Henry Lawrence. La señora Gardner parece tener una función decisiva y organiza las funciones cinematográficas que se van a montar en el teatro-circo Orrín, en septiembre de 1896:
Last night, arrangements having been made with Mr. Orrin, the vitascope gave its first public performance between seven and half past eight. O'Connor and Lawrence have now three of these interesting machines in Mexico. Arrangements are being made to present these views hereafter between the acts of the company now performing in Orrin's theatre.

Cuando ya se anuncian las últimas funciones, en 28 de septiembre, Mrs Gardner sale para Puebla donde va a preparar nuevas proyecciones con el vitascopio:
Mrs. Gardener anticipates starting for Puebla tomorrow to set up another vitascope there.

Inauguradas el día 4 de octubre, las representaciones se prolongan durante casi todo el mes. La señora C. P. Gardner va a organizar una amplia gira por la República, con su colaborador Thomas O'Connor, y llega a Aguascalientes en los primeros días del mes de noviembre:
Mrs. Gardner, accompanied by Thomas O'Connor, started for Aguascalientes yesterday to put up the vitascope at that place. They are awaiting the arrival of their calcium lights to continue their exhibit at Queretaro, Leon and Silao. Thay will also exhibit at San Luis Potosi, Zacatecas and Chihuahua.

No se sabe muy bien si realmente la gira programada se llega a realizar, ya que John R. Roslyn se deshace de la Agencia de Edison en diciembre de 1896.
