POOLE'S MYRIORAMA IN MAIDSTONE.-Friday evening sees the commencement of Poole's Royal Myriorama, which is to run at the Corn Exchange for five nights, and two matinees (Saturday and Wednesday). The scenes include the Battle of Elandslaagte, the Blowing up of the Pekin Gates by the Allied Troops, and the Battle of Waterloo. During the evening a grand series of up-to-date films will be shown by the Edison-Poole Eventograph.

Les Animated Photographs de la Maskelyne and Cooke's Regional Company (Corn Exchange, <5> octobre 1901)

La Maskelyne and Cooke's Regional Company organise des spectacles en Grande-Bretagne depuis juillet 1899. David Devant en est le responsable et il accompagne la troupe. L'équipe vient de donner quelques séances à Tunbridge Wells. À Maidstone, le spectacle a lieu, dans les premiers jours d'octobre, au Corn Exchange :

CORN EXCHANGE.— This week Messrs Maskelyne and Cooke’s well-known entertainment of Egyptian Hall fame is here under the personal direction of Mr David Devant, who is a conjuror of no mean order, his sleight-of-hand business being very smart. The two sketches. Elixir Vitae and The Artist's Dream, completely mystify the audience. The juggling Mons. Gintaro is good, some of his tricks being quite unique. The programme also includes a good series of animated photographs.
