TOWN HALL.-On the 16th inst. Mr E. T. Nugent paid us a one night visit with his pantomime Robinson Crusoe. On the 18th and 19th, Mr David Devant's Animated Photographs were exhibited, and ventriloquism by Mr Walter R. Booth, under the management of Mr Horace Chester, was supplied. Mr Henry Poole's Myriorama with an excellent variety company is here this week. Chard's dog circus is an excellent item.

POOLE’S MYRIORAMA.— The popular entertainment known as Poole’s Myriorama opens at the Town Hall, on Monday next. For sixty-five years "Poole’s'’ has maintained its place public esteem, and under the management of Messrs. Harry and Fred Poole, the present proprietors, an enterprising policy is still pursued. In the programme arranged for the present visit, instruction, amusement, and variety are admirably combined, and most tastes are catered for. The splendid coloured views comprise representations of some of the finest scenery in the world, together with famous buildings, strange sights in Eastern cities, the Delhi Durbar in India, and the ascent of Mont Blanc. Five new tableaux depict with dramatic effect the West Indian volcanic horror, and realistic representation is given of the fight with the Spanish Armada. The indispensable series of animated pictures will include pantomime entitled "Robinson Crusoe," a myriograph play in twenty-eight tableaux. In addition, a comprehensive list of variety "turns" has been prepared. Messrs. Poole secured a capital animated photograph of Lord Methuen's public reception at Devizes recently, and this feature of the entertainment is sure to excite special interest locally.
