POOLE'S MYRIORAMIA AT THE PUBLIC HALL.— Local lovers of a really high class entertainment have a great treat before them next week. As will be seen in our advertisement columns Messrs. Harry and Fred Poole open at the Public Hall with their Myrioramas on Monday, and continue each night during the week, with matinees at 3 o'clock on Wednesday and Saturday. Messrs. Poole are fully up to date with this most attractive form of entertainment, in which they take a very commending lead. A more interesting programme has never been offered at the Public Hall. The "Round the world" tour includes some magnificent scenic surprises, including startling tableaux illustrating methods of submarine warfare, interesting views of the Royal visit to Ireland, scenes in India, Afghanistan. Japan, and West Indies, showing the recent volcanic eruptions, destruction of St. Pierre ; the slave market and other views in Somaliland ; goldmining at Klondyke and in the Rand, and much other interesting matter. The splendid myriograph views, showing among other things an ascent of Mont Blanc, are sufficient alone to draw big houses, but in addition there is a fine list of variety turns at intervals, including Lieut. Chard's performing bounds, "La Belle Papillon," serpentine dancer, the "Ramlos," very clever and comical horizontal bar performers, Mr. Philip Percival, baritone vocalist and cicerone, the famous " Olmars," marvellous acrobats, and a splendid orchestral band. Tickets can be had and plan seen at Spencer's music ware-house, Evesham Street.
