LUMIERE CINEMATOGRAPHE.
On reference to our advertising columns it will be seen that the Lumiere Cinematographe will be shown for the first time during this week, by Messrs. Pursehouse and Pettitt, in the building lately occupied by Mr. B. A. Nichols. The subjects are all first class, and the Jubilee Procession Views have only been out a fortnight. Wherever this Cinematographe has been shown the papers have given it the greatest praise, and we can confidently assert that it is the best we have had in Yass. Amongst the subjects, besides the Jubilee Views, are the Arrival of a Train at Flemington on Cup Day, Fight between Griffo and Murphy, Buckjumping Contest, Skirt Dance, Lassooing Wild Cattle in America, Snowballing Scene, French Duelling Scene, Panoramic View from a Moving Train, and several other beautiful its well as comic pictures. Besides the Cinematographe the proprietors have Edison's Loud Speaking Phonograph which renders several selections including a Duet on Two Cornets (a triple tonguing polka) by D'Arco, a feat never before performed by any other artist in the world. We wish the proprietors every success during their stay in Yass.
