We learn from Mr. W. G. Pearce, business manager of Lumier's Cinematograph, that the net proceeds of the benefit given in aid of the funds of the local Hospital, on Friday evening last, amounted to £10 5s. When supplemented by the Government endowment, this amount will represent a very substantial sum, for which the management were specially thanked at the conclusion of the entertainment by Mr. J. F. Boreham, President of the Hospital Committes. Mr. Boivin will open in Brisbane on Saturday next, when the whole of the Jubilee pictures are to be presented. These, it is understood, will be shown in Bundaberg at a later date.
