A remarkably interesting view taken from the front end of a locomotive on one of the most picturesque hits of the track along the Hudon. The train passes through the tunnel, and the view of the gradually increasint opening, as the train emerges from the opposite side, is particularly novel.

The most remarkable photograph, the first of the kind made, is a panoramic view of the track and surrounding country on one side of the famous Haverstraw tunnel, into which the train plunges. There is darkness for a few moments and then the opening at the other end becomes visible and the train emerges shortly and you are treated to some scenery and a glimpse of the river. |
