Le Kinetoscope (136 Market street, <21> novembre 1894)
Le kinetoscope fonctionne au Companys Office, Market street, en novembre :
The Kinetoscope.
The wonderful kinetoscope, on exhibition for a short time at the companys office 136 Market street (ground floor), is attracting much attention. The office is open all day and until late at sight, but every minute of the day the kinetoscopes are is use. It parents will send or bring their children the best time would be in the afternoon. Then the attendants would be more at leisure to explain the wonderful machine that shows men and women moving, talking, acting as the machine caught and photographed not only their features but all the motions of their bodies probably months ago. Five cents only is charged. There are also phonographs where songs of great singers and speeches of great speakers are reproduced and where one can hear a song by Patti or one of Levy's cornet solos.

THE TOURISIS' PRIZE FAIR.
Adding to the Attractions that Make Apollo Ha'l a Lively Place This Week.
Although the attendance last night at the prize faire of the Tourist Cycle Club in Apollo Hall was smaller than on the previous evenings, those in charge say that a good business was done at the booths. The light attendance was no doubt due to the rain starting shortly after 8 o'clock, which had the effect of keeping many away from the hall. Attractions are constantly being added to the fair. Last night a Japanese booth was put in, with an array of articles made by the Jape. New pictures were shown by the biograph, some of which were comical and provoked much laughter. The Union and Riverside Clubs are making matters lively over the contest for a piano. A contest has been arranged for in the Tourist Club for a diamond studded club badge, which will go to the member receiving the largest number of votes. In addition to the attractions on the main [...]or, there is much to amuse in the basement, where performances are given by trick dogs and trained birds. The fair will continue every evening this week. The Second Regiment Band, [enconsed] in the gallery, plays delightful promenade music throughout the evening. The following door coupons won prizes last night: First, 4.650; second, 3,833; third 3,885; fourth, 2,518;fifth, 2,740.
The following program of biograph pictures for to-morrow night is very attractive: Scaling the wall by the 13th U.S. Infantry at Governor's Island; blanket court-martial, 13th infantry; "Waiting for Hubby," Trilby and Little Billee; Sandow, the strong man; Winchester arms factory, New Haven, Conn.; sausage machine; Little Egypt.
