Return of Lifeboat
Taken at Pacific Coast Life Saving Service, Golden Gate Park Station, Ocean Beach, San Francisco, Cal., Capt. Geo. H. Varney commanding. Shows a lifeboat attempting to reach the shore through the breakers. The surf is so very wild that the boat tosses about like a cork, showing the extreme difficulty and danger attending the landing. The waves are high and the water effects beautiful. An interesting subject, with the figures showing large and clear.
