Whilst in New Zeland Mr West is securing a series of views of the scenery and pricipal cities, which he will show on his return to England. He had intended to visit the Otira Gorge this week, but was deterred by the inclement weather. The frozen meat industry will be fully illustrated, and will thus give audiences at Home an opportunity of viewing the staple industry of New Zealand. Mr. West will also take pictures of the natives and scenery in the North Island. Poverty Bay Herald, Gisborne, jeudi 15 juin 1905, p. 4.

Mr T. J. West, of West's Pictures and the Brescians, is an enterprising gentleman. Having hit upon the idea of “displaying'’ members of the New Zealand Legislature by means of animated views, the necessary arrangements were made, and yesterday morning he "got" tje Speaker, and subsequently the senior Government whip riding up to the main entrance of the House in a motor-car. Early in the afternoon a large number of members of both Houses, including members of the Ministry, were taken in colloquial attitudes in the Parliamentary grounds. This, Mr West believes, is the first time any Parliament in the world has been kinematographed. Arrangements are being made to kinematograph a parade of public school cadets in Wellington. New Zealand Times, Wellington, jeudi 20 juillet 1905, p. 4.
