A Little Piece of String

This is a parody on over-politeness. A young man is standing on a corner talking to a pretty girl, when a second man comes along and joins him. He notices what appears to be a bit of string or thread on the young lady's waist, and promptly attempts to remove it. Unfortunately, it is the thread from a seam in the young woman's skirt and as the young man persists in pulling, the garment falls apart, much to the young man's embarrassment and chagrin.

A Little Piece of String

A well-dressed young woman can be seen coming out of the door of a set of a store in a metropolitan city. As she reaches the sidewalk, a man comes up, tips his hat, and begins admiring her dress and hat. Another man walks up from the other direction, greets the young woman, and repeats the gestures of admiratino. The first young man notices a bit if fkyff at the waistvand of her dress. He goes to brush it off, but apparently it is the binding belt of her skirt because as he pulls, the skirt falls to the sidewalk revealing her petticoat and legs. She picks up the skirt, holds it about her and runs back into the store.
