Les Living Pictures des frères Downey (Tynemouth Palace, 3-11 septembre 1900)
James John et Frederick Downey présentent des vues animées au Tynemouth Palace en septembre :
A capital all-round performance is provided this week the Tynemouth Palace, and yesterday there were good audiences both afternoon and evening. The White Band, which under the able conductor ship Morgann, has given much pleasure during the past few weeks to frequenters of the Palace, concludes its engagement on Saturday next. Some fine selections were played by these instrumentalists last night, and the patrons showed appreciation of their efforts by hearty applause.
The variety programme includes the Alexandroff troupe of Russian singers and dancers, Mr Albert Duncan, club expert and athelete, and Teddy Whittle, the Lancashire humorist, this part of the entertainment being diversified by an exhibition of Downey's living pictures of war scenes and of comic subjects.
