THE PEOPLE'S PALACE.-The London Jubilee procession is an old story, regarding which much has been said and written, but it is not yet without interest to the thousands of the people of this country who had perforce to accept the account of the demonstration from the newspapers or from hearsay.
[...]
In the People’s Palace, which last night was reopened for the season under auspicious circumstances —the audience being probably the largest ever seen within the walls of the building this time of year, and the company one of the best engaged the Livermore Brothers—there is exhibited Paul’s animatographe, which gives a graphic and striking illustration of the Jubilee procession as it traversed the streets of London on 22d June. The living pictures are most realistic. The series is introduced by a representation of the Union Jack fluttering in the breeze, and then follow continuous order detachment after detachment of mounted and infantry troops, with the carriages occupied by British and foreign Royalties sandwiched between. As the cavalcade passes along the route the crowds of spectators drawn up on each side, as also the more favoured sight-seers who occupy seats windows and grandstands, are seen waving handkerchiefs and hats, and otherwise manifesting loyal enthusiasm over the occasion. The pictures are admirably worked, and afforded much pleasure to tho audience.
