The Carnival Procession in Nice

This world famed festival has been done justice to in cinematography for the first time. Photographed in the square at Nice, which is formed by one of the most interesting groups of buildings in Southern France. The gorgeous floats and multitudes of rnasqueraders passing in one ever varying procession to which much humerous element is added by the antics of grotesque characters lends much to the highly interesting nature of this lively picture series.

A very fine series, "Carnival de Nice, 1905," is shown at the Alhambra this week, the pictures having been photographed by Mr. G. Rogers, the Urban Co.'s Paris representative. Mr. Rogers, by the way is now exhibiting at various resorts in the Riviera Urban war pictures for the benefit of the Russian Red Cross Society. His Carnival scenes are remarkable for their variety and beauty. They comprise a number of different cars, while many typical and interesting incidents are portrayed.
