Sunday Morning in Mexico

Sunday Morning in Mexico
Taken in the fashionable park in Mexico City on Sunday morning and shows the fashionable set in their usual after-church promenade. These promenaders comprise the best people in Mexico, who appear quite Americanized. It will be noticed in this picture that no typical Mexican costumes are in evidence, which is due to the fact that the Peons, or lower classes, are not allowed to mingle with the "Four Hundred." The concourse is made up of people of all nationalities, including several groups of pretty Senoritas. This is an interesting subject, with the figures showing life size. Clear and distinct.

Mr. James White and his able assistant, Mr. Fred W. Blechynder, left this city last night for an extended trip over the Central system. These gentlemen are representing the Edison Electrical Company, of Orange, N.J., and are taking views of characteristic Mexico, for reproduction in the company's kinetescopes, which will be exhibited in the United States. |
