Street Scene, San Diego
There is a long perspective, with a large double-decked trolley car in the distance, which approaches and passes the audience. Both decks are crowded with passengers, on their way to a football game, which is advertised on the side of the car. When close to the camera they rise to their feet and wave their handkerchiefs and hats. A large number of bicycle riders, pedestrians, bystanders and carriages add to the action. Sharp and clear.

A picture will be taken at Marston's corner, San Diego, of a moving double-decker electric car, at 11 o'clock Thursday morning. James H. White and Fred. W. Blechynden are here today representing the Edison laboratory. They have taken kinetograph pictures of the rabbit chase at Coronado, spaniel in the surf, ostriches and a moving double decker car of Fifth street, passing Marston's store. The views will be developed and exhibited over the world. |
