The entertainment consisted of a number of Mr. David Devant's animated photographs, shown by Mr. E. Wighton. These crested great delight, and some were exceedingly amusing, especially one entitled “A Picaninie’s Bath," in which was seen a negro woman bathing her child. Some of the pictures were very good, especially the start of the motor car race, an American express travelling at the rate of sixty miles an hour, football match and a cavalry charge. During the interval a meeting was held, at which speeches were given on political subjects by several gentlemen, after which the lights were again lowered, and another set of pictures shown, concluding with series scenes from the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Before separating the company joined heartily singing the National Anthem.
