The Last Great International Football Match

The Last Great International Football Match. Victory for Scotland

THE last of the football Matches under Association Rules was played at Sheffield on Saturday (April 4th, 1903), resulting in a victory for Scotland by two goals to England's one, and my photographers were sccessful in obtaining very fine animated pictures of the principal parts of the play. The Scotchmen come out first and meet with a good reception, and the Englishmen then follow. The teams are then photographed and by means of the panoramic device attached to one of my cameras, the players and the crowds of spectators in the back ground are all well seen. The whole length of the film includes the scoring of all the three goals (two for the Scotchmen and one for the Englishmen) and all the most exciting incidents of the play in which a number of scrimmages take a prominent part.
THIS is the finest football film ever obtained and every portion is full of interest.
