The Professor and the Butterfly

An elderly entomologist is spending a quiet afternoon alone with nature, and while lunching he catches sight of a “Camberwell Beauty”, apparently within easy reach. He produces his net, but is unsuccessful in his attempts to capture this rare specimen, as the butterfly evades the net every time. However, he is nothing if not enthusiastic, and pursues the coveted prize for some distance, not relaxing his efforts until he finds himself in a lake, when the insect hovers derisively over his head. Good comic.
