The Topsy-Turvy Villa

The topsy-Turvy Villa

A very remarkable Cinematograph trick of an entirely novel character is here successfully carried out. In a well-furnished kitchen the cook is seen walking about, only she is walking on the ceiling instead of on the floor. A small boy, also moving in the same strange manner, is cuffed by the cook for some offence, and swears revenge as he climbs out over the lintel of the door. Next a policeman enters in much the same way, and while flirting with the cook is seen by the small boy, who reports the irregularity to the mistress of the house. That lady, also walking on the celling, comes rapidly into the apartment, and chases the policeman and his sweetheart round the room. The effect produced by this strange trick of animated photography is very curious and remarkable.
