Raffles, the Dog

The opening of the picture shows the Interior of a scantily furnished room. A man and a woman are engaged in theaching a dog to become an expert thief, and the dog goes through his part moat cleverly. The next scene shows "Raflles" with his master and mistress In a park. An old gentleman is asleep on a bench. Upon receivlng a sign from his master, "Raffles" steals the old gentleman's watch. The three now make a tour of the clty, and "Raffles" successfully steals packages from an express wagon and prlvate carriage, and sausages from a butcher's. In attempting to steal a satchel from a lady he la detected. The lady gives chase, and is joigned by a crowd, in which are several of his former victims. A lively chase ends In capture, and all the stolen articles are discovered upon his mistress.
