Los tres colaboradores, Edwin Stanton Porter, Harry J. Daniels y J. Dowe acaban de dar unas cuantas sesiones de proyecciones en Barbados de donde salen el día 6 de abril de 1897 para Demerara :

Durante unas tres semanas, permanecen en Demerara donde, sin ninguna duda, organizan funciones con el proyectographe. Finalmente tras su estancia, los tres socios regresan a Barbados:
Los tres colaboradores, Edwin Stanton Porter, Harry J. Daniels y J. Dowe, tras una estancia en Demerara, van a regresar a Barbados para dar unas cuantas sesiones más. Llegan a la isla el día 24 de abril de 1897:

L.H.Mann sale de Barbados en julio para una gira por Demarara y Surinam:

MR. L.H.W. Mann left here last night for Demerara and Surinam where he purposes giving exhibitions with his Cinematograph. He expects to be absent about six weeks.

We are pleased to set that Mr. L. H. W. Mann is succeeding with his Cinematograph shows in Demerara as the following from the Argosy of the 22nd ulto. shows: —
The Mann's Cinematograph Company have this week been entertaining and instructing the Georgetown public, in the town Hall, by an exhibition of the Cinematograph. There have been good houses every night, and at the opening night admission had to be refused to late-comers, there being no sitting or standing room. The views are all up to the mark, some amusing, some instructive,—all good. The entertainments have been enlivened by piano music. We can recommend the entertainment to those of our readers who have not seen it.

El Cinématographe Lumière de Giuseppe Filippi (agosto-septiembre de 1899)
El célebre pionero italiano Giuseppe Filippi organiza una gira por el Caribe a partir del verano de 1899. Anteriormente, ha dado unas funciones en Trinidad, durante el mes de julio. Gracias a un diario publiado en Haití, disponemos de la traducción de un artículo publicado probablemente en agosto de 1899:
La représentation du cinématographe LUMIERE au Town Hall est une des meilleures que nous ayons jamais vues dans cette colonie. Les vues sont variées, bien détachées, intéressantes, et l'appareil fonctionne entre des mains habiles. Mercredi soir la salle était remplie par un public d'élite qui a su apprécier la série de tableaux qui lui a été montrée. La Résurrection de Lazare, un des treize tableaux qui composent le drame de la "Passion du Seigneur", a produit une profonde impression. Parmi les tableaux qui ont eu plus de succès, nous citerons: le Faux mendiant, les Exercices de la cavalerie allemande, un Assaut d'un mur par le 27 et la Capture de chevaux sauvages au Mexique.
La dernière représentation donnée par M. Filippi a été couronnée de succès, et les spectateurs ont témoigné leur entière satisfaction par de nombreux applaudissements.

El artículo es elogioso y, sobre todo, nos revela algunos de los títulos de su repertorio, constituido de películas del catálogo Lumière, como La Vie et la Passion de Jésus-Christ que es un éxito en todas las partes donde se presenta. Después de su estancia en Demerara, Giuseppe Filippi se dirige hacia Surinam.

El cinematógrafo de Freitas y Heilbron organizan algunas funciones en el Town Hall:

BY an advertisement in this issue, it will seen that Messrs Freitas and Heilbron, who have given several successful Cinematograph exhibitions in Georgetown, propose to hold several similar entertainments in the Town Hall here during the week. AT PRINCES BUILDING LAST NIGHT TO SEE THE ELECTRIC CARNIVAL.
There was another packed house at the Princes Building last night to the Electric Carnival, which proves the intense enthusiasm manifest in this popular attraction by the people of Port-of-Spain. This was the twelth performance given by the Ireland Brothers here and the fourth time they have given their farewell performances yet the enthusiasm was such each time as to hold them over for another week and it appears as though this attraction would be good here for a long engagement. However we are informed that they have already made arrangements to show in Tunapuna on Monday night, Arima on Tuesday, Couva on Wednesday and San Fernando for the balance of the week and will then leave for Demerara, so that there is no possibility of their remaining over again next week no matter how many an turned away or what inducement may be offered.
