Le Vitascope de Mr. Wm Rock (Opera House, 28-31 octobre 1896)
À la fin du mois d'octobre, William T. Rock présente un vitascope à l'Opera House :
Edison's Latest Wonder.-
A number of Alexandria's citizens were invited to the Opera House last night to witness Edison's latest wonder, the "Vitascope." This machine so named because it exhibits life, is indeed a wonder, constituting one of the most taking attractions ever seen in Alexandria. The following were the exhibitions last night:
1. The Camels Parade.
2. Carpenter Shops, Edison's Work.
3. Lightning Express Train.
4. "Lone Fisherman," as acted by the celebrated comedian, James Maffett.
Mr. Wm. Rock is the owner and manager, and will exhibit the Vitascope at the Opera House, Alexandria, four nights, Oct. 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st. Everybody should see this latest electrical wonder.
