The Edison vitascope is a sort of o'ershadowing the excellent variety artists just now. Yesterday several new pictures were shown and they excited the same amount of curiosity and interest on the part of the audience as did those presented last week. The Twenty-third street station of the New York elevated railroad is a capital scene. The steam of the locomotive is observed rising in the distance, inricating the screech of a whistle, and then the long train goes rushing swiftly be very realistically. It was one of the best shown so far. |
