L'animatoscope de Lyman H. Howe (Opera House, 27 janvier 1897)
Lyman H. Howe présente des vues animées avec son animatoscope :
The animatoscope entertainement last evening was a decided financial success, as the opera house was filled to its utmost capacity. From prior announcements the people were led to believe, that the animatoscope was an invention of wonderful power and from the way the people expressed themselves after ward, it excelled their anticipation. About eighteen scenes were shown. In certain scenes the phonograph accompanied the animatoscope. The people of this town are acquainted with Mr. Howe's manipulation of the phonograph. Those who were not present, now regret it.
