A WONDERFUL EXHIBITION.
Vitascope Views at Saengerfest Hall and Good Vaudeville Attractions.
Saengerfest hall is attracting more attention every day. Many strangers have been to see the wonderful invention (Edison's vitascope). Everyone who has spent an evening at the palace. of amusement talks about it to his friends, and no one should fail to go and witness the performance. Saengerfest hall during the summer season is especially adapted for performances. It is the coolest place in the city and can be reached by street cars from any part of the city.
Today the program changes for the week, and among the new attractions the productions on the vitascope are the ferry-boat at Battery park, New York: Shut the Chute at Coney island, the bucking broncho from Buffalo Bill's "Wild West" show, showing an interesting bout with a cow puncher, and lynching scene (horse thief by a band of cowboys), the carnival, Calcedo, the Spanish tight wire performer, and skirt dancing by three ladies of the Gaiety theater, London. The vaudeville attractions for the week are up to the usual high standard.
Among the vaudeville attractions this week are the dashing transatlantic singing commedienne, Blanche Creaco; the Ferguson brothers, in their great military comedy sketches; the Irish comedians, Burke and Gray; the refined song and dance artistes, the Reyeford sisters, and re-engagement of the popular Putnam sisters.

Le Chronomatographe d'Oscar Depue et Burton Holmes (Association Hall, 22 décembre 1897)

The managers of the Association Course have secured as one of their star entertainers E. Burton Holmes, with his marvelous color pictures of the Yellowstone. Mr. Holmes has added to his attractions a chronomatographe with which the geysers of the Yellowstone, the cataracts, and other moving scenery of the Rocky Mountains will be shown in action. The entertainment begins at 8 o'clock to-night in Association Hall.

Le biograph (Euclid Beach theater, <24-> 24 juillet 1898)
Le biograph inaugure ses projections de vues animées à la fin du mois de juillet :
Euclid Beach Park.
A new feature will be inaugurated at the popular Euclid Beach park today, when a number of the seats will be made absolutely free and the patrons can now sit and witness the performance. without any cost at all. Next week's bill contains the names of many prominent artists, among them being Levender and Tomson in a character comedy sketch; Walker and Wayne, singing, talking and dancing comedians; Bert St. John, character and topical vocalist; Ernie Veronee, eccentric and acrobatic dancer, and Grace Welle, the popular local singer of ballads. The biograph on account of its big success the past week will be retained one week longer and will names of many prominent artists, among them being "The Landing of Shafter's Army in Cuba;" "The Haverstraw Tunnel;" "A Horseless Fire Engine;" "A Cavalry Charge by United States Regulars;" "A Review of United States Marines on Dress Parade," and Havana harbor, including the wreck of the Maine. Among this week's successes that on account of the popular demand be retained are: "An Unexpected Bath;" "The Pillow Fight;" "Roosevelt's Famous Second Rough Riders;" "The One Hundred and Second New York Regiment;" "The Girard College Boys on Parade;" "The Boston Veteran Zouaves," and "The Cavalry Charge.

SUNDAY AT EUCLID BEACH
Crowded Houses Witnessed the Vaudeville Performances.
The Euclid Beach theater had two of its usual enormous Sunday audiences yesterday and gave a very interesting program at both. The biograph was the principal feature and its views of the war literally carried the people off their feet with enthusiasm, they were so thrilling and graphic. The biograph is not a new element in local amusements, but this one is of such a superior quality that it has more attractiveness even than the first machines.
The rest of the program is made up of vaudeville acts of a high character and full of diversion. Lavender and Thomson give a very amusing comedy sketch; Walker and Wayne's act is witty; there is some amusing cake walking by the Bernstein children; Ernie Veronee, a little singer and dancer, is exceedingly clever; Louise and Lotta Baker, late of the "Brownies," give a refined and pleasing act, and the character songs of Bert St. John went very well. There will be two performances daily during the week.

Many thousands of happy and cheering Republicans stood for hours in front of the Leader building on Superior street Tuesday night.

The Leader management, with a desire to fill up the pauses which occurred on account of the necessary delays in receiving the returns, arranged for a number of scenic polyscope views. These views were fine and were thoroughly enjoyed by the spectators. They consisted of a wide range of subjects, and showed the work of Uncle Sam's soldiers in the Philppines and sights along Broadway, New York. The success of the exhibition was in a large part due to its clever manipulation by P. D. Fetzer, an operator from Chicago.
The screen could be clearly seen from all sides, thus accommodating the immense crowd.
