SHIELDS MAY SEE THE BRITT-NELSON FIGHT Edward Shields, the well-known theatrical manager, was in the city for a few hours today on his way to Anderson and Muncie, from Kokomo. He has arranged to take a moving picture of the Kokomo fire department Tuesday and give them a benefit later on. His mission to Anderson and Muncie is for the same purpose. He photographs the Lafayette department Aug. 30, during the encampment. The new camera the is using goes to San Francisco to photograph the Britt-Nelson fight Sept. 9. The film making firm. in Chicago with which Mr. Shields deals has the contract for making the fight pictures. Four moving picture cameras will we be trained on the ring, It may be necessary for Mr. Shields to make the trip. The work of photographing a fight is a difficult task and the company has only one experienced man to send.
