The name of Poole is an old establishe I one and one cannot but be satisfied with the fare provided. The programme commences with Myriorama views which take one round the world, showing places of interest, picturesque scenery, and famous buildings. It displays a most realistic production of the destruction of St. Pierre, with the British ship Roddam making its escape, of the Spanish Armada, in all its various details, and of submarine warfare with the destruction of a battle ship. The programme also includes performances by a variety company including the Olmars acrobats (5 in number). La Belle Rapillon, Serpentine dancer. The perfection of animal training is to be witnessed in the performances of Lieut. Chard's troupe of performing dogs. Animated pictures by the Myriograph, and which includes the employees of Messrs Hardy Bros., leaving work proved very attractive. An orchestral band discourses music throughout the performance. To-night (Saturday) will conclude their visit.
