TOWN HALL.-On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings there were large audiences at the Town Hall, when, under the auspices of the Model Marvel Company (Limited), exhibitions were given of the Analyticon and Cinématograph. Mr. T. J. West is a genial reconteur as well as an accomplished elocutionist; Mr. G. H. Philp, a clever cinématographist; and Mr. T. Lax, an able acompanist.

L'Eventograph de Charles W. Poole présente des vues animées en mai.
VISIT OF CHARLES W. POOLE'S MYRIORAMA TO DURHAM.—On Monday evening Charles W. Poole’s myriorama commences a six nights' engagement at the Palace Theatre, Court Lane. The entertainment provided is of an excellent quality, and it has never failed to give the utmost satistaction. The name itself is a sufficient guarantee of the high standard of the programme to be submitted. The pictures are all up to date, the latest addition being an illustration of the charge of the Gordon Highlanders at Dargai. The latest in animated photography, shown through the Eventograph brings pictorial work up to date. A couple of hours at the Palace Theatre is very pleasantly as well as profitably spent.
