Le Myriograph de M. Poole (Rifle Drill Hall, >31 janvier-[7] février 1902)
Le Myriograph de M. Poole présente des vues animées au Rifle Drill hall en janvier :
POOLE'S MYRIORAMA.-This world-renowned combination will occupy the Rifle Drill Hall throughout next week and give their famous entertainments at popular prices. There will be a change of programme each day and it will be found one of the very best entertainments yet organised. The 20th Century Myriograph eclipses anything previously seen, and amongst the views is the only animated photograph of Lord Rosebery ever taken. He is depicted unveiling the statue of King Alfred. There is great variety and not a dull moment in the programme. For the convenience of those desiring reserved seats, a plan of the room may be seen, and tickets obtained, at W. & E. Frost's Library.

Quelques jours plus tard, la presse publie un article complémentaire :
POOLE'S MYRIORAMA AT THE DRILL HALL.-This world-famed myriorama, with its splendid accompanying variety turns, is this week running nightly at the Drill Hall, and can be justly described as excellent in all respects. The enjoyment of the programme is enhanced by the musical strains of a really good orchestral band, appropriate music permeating and adding to the effect, not only of the beautiful pictures shown, but to the gymnastic tricks, serpentine dancing, performing dogs, &c., &c. The singing of Miss Lillie Poole (soprano), and Harry Dowsett (comedian), is particularly good, and the performing dogs, and the troupe of gymnasts afford delightful and sensational turns. The marionettes cause hearty laughter, and the serpentine dancing of La Belle Papillon may be truly described as the "poetry of motion." The myriorama and the myriograph give representations of latter day events, the scenic effect and quick change from daylight to moonlight in instances being really beautiful. Patriotism is also deeply stirred by the thrilling war pictures exhibited. Altogether, a first-class entertainment, and instruction and amusement interweave for the benefit of the audience. For the rest of the week new features will be introduced, amongst them being a film, 410 ft. long, which will, through the medium of the myriograph, give realistic living pictures of the re-played English cup-final last year at Bolton, between Sheffield United and Tottenham Hospur.
