L'Animatoscope de Mr. Cripps (National schools, <8 décembre 1898)
Mr. Cripps présente des vues animées avec son animatoscope en décembre :
AVONMOUTH.
The annual parochial tea and concert were held at the National schools. About 150 sat down to tea. The conceit which followed was arranged by Mrs Goodwin Norris, of Shirehampton. The following ladies and gentlemen contributed to an excellent programme: -The Hon. Caroline Bruce, the Hon. Pamela Bruce, Mrs Falconar, Miss May Moore, Miss Tanner, Miss Ethel Moore, Miss Kilminster, Mr E. Hodges, and Mr E. Knapton. At the close of the concert, Mr Cripps, of Clifton, kindly gave an exhibition of the animatoscope. The vicar (Rev. A. J. Harvey), in a short address, referred to the fund for the much needed organ for St. Andrew's Church, for which about one-half the sum required has been promised.
