Arrival of General Kuropatkin at Mukden, Manchuria, and Inspection of the 1st Regiment Siberian Sharp-Shooters

Fine quality, full of action, and greatest interest. The only animated picture of the Russian General in existence. ·The interest of the world is centred on the Commanding General of the Russian Forces  in the Far East. He is seen mounting his famous White Charger at the Railway Station of Mukden. The next view shows him and his_Escort making their way to the City, where the General reviews the Regiment of Sharpshooters. He and his entire Staff ride to the fields outside the city (where at the time he thought of camping· a large number of reserves who were not required at the front). Very few of the men he is reviewing here are now left as the majority have fallen in the recent great battle with the Japs; they have covered the retreat of the Main Army. Here, probably, the next great battle will be fought in the expulsion of the Russians from Manchuria. A splendid picture.
