John Bull a décidé de se rendre à Paris, il fait ses préparatifs de départ, prend successivement le train et le bateau, arrive à Paris et s'arrête devant les principaux monuments.

A Trip to Paris

SCENE I. THE TRIPPER PACKS his portmanteau with the few things requisite and necessary for a trip to the “gay city.”
SCENE II. OUTSIDE CHARING-CROSS RAILWAY STATION.-The Tripper is late for the train, and is hurrying as fast as he can for the booking-office.
SCENE III. AT THE BOOKING-OFFICE.-A very stout lady is taking her ticket, while a string of impatient passengers wait behind her. The insists upon going out the wrong way and so delays everybody. The Tripper just manages to get his ticket and jump into the train before it starts.
SCENE IV. ON THE RAILWAY BRIDGE.-The Continental Train starts, and the Tripper waves farewell to his friends.
SCENE V. VARIOUS VIEWS FROM THE WINDOW of the train as it speeds on its way to Dover. The Tripper is too excited to sit still, and constantly leans out of the window in front.
SCENE VI. AT DOVER.-The Continental Train arrives, and the Tripper hastens to the steamer.
SCENE VII. THE STEAMER ALONGSIDE THE ADMIRALTY PIER.-The tripper goes on board.
SCENE VIII. THE STEAMER UNDER WAY.-The foamy water behind the paddle box.
SCENE IX. VIEW ON DECK OF THE STEAMER.-The Tripper is offered a cigarette, but is not felling inclined for luxuries at the time.
SCENE X. ARRIVAL AT CALAIS.-After a short dispute about his ticket the Tripper goes ashore.
SCENE XI. THE ARRIVAL AT PARIS.-Panoramic View of the Place de l’Opera. The Tripper buys picture postcards.
SCENE XII. THE PLACE DE LA CONCORDE.-If you want to know the way ask a gendarme.
SCENE XIII. THE ARC DE TRIUMPHE.
SCENE XIV. THE CHAMPS ELYSEES ON SUNDAY.-The Tripper buys a gas balloon, but unfortunately loses it.
SCENE XV. AT A CAFÉ

This is a Film of continued and sustained interest, being a complete representation of a trip abroad linked up into one harmonious whole in a new and quite original manner. Every scene is of splendid photographic quality, and the whole subject forms a picture of unusual beauty and interest.
