Special mention should be made of the excellent picture of Queen Margherita and King Umberto, of Italy, as they descend the steps of the Quirinal and enter their carriage. The aides-de-camp and great officers of the household low the royal personages to their carriage in great style, giving the Australian visitor a glimpse of the court etiquette which made Shakespeare's Harry of England exclaim satirically, "O, be sick, great greatness, and bid thy ceremony give thee cure!" |
