Les bio-tableaux de Walter Gibbons (Borough Hall, 31 mai 1900)
Walter Gibbons présente ses bio-tableaux au Borough Hall :
ARTHUR ROBERTS IN GUILDFORD
Mr. Arthur Roberts, the famous comedian, assisted by several London artistes, gave an entertainment at the Borough Hall on Thurday evening, but was not so well patronised as the excellent programme deserved to be. [...] The programme concluded with Mr. Walter Gibbon's bio-tableaux and animated war pictures, which were the best seen in Guildford for some time. The most interesting of these pictures was perhaps that of General French's cavalry repelling the Boers on their march to Kimberley. The photos of our generals were well receivec, that of Major-General Baden-Powell coming in for special recognition. The piano was supplied by Mr. F. J. Lemare, who carried out the seating.
